Dr. Loren Molina is a double-board-certified OB/GYN specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and an expert in women's and children's health and in OB, GYN and MFM clinical practices, quality and strategic growth models.
In Loren's role as an XCO Partner, she brings both strategic and operational expertise along with proven experience drawn from her decade-long OB/ MFM career. She is a private practicing perinatologist with MultiCare, based in Tacoma, Washington. In this role, she has been engaged in an active outpatient and inpatient clinical practice of 6 MFM physicians serving 20 transferring hospitals across 9 counties. Additionally, Loren has been a leader in the MultiCare health system. In 2016, she was named "Physician of the Year" and "Most Valuable Physician" for her hospital. Throughout the years, she has held many administrative roles including Chair of Women's Health Services, Chair of the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology, active member of the Medical Executive Committee, Creator/Physician-Lead of the High-Risk OB CareConnect Diabetes Program, Chair of the Peer Review Committee, Physician Lead of the Bariatric Obstetrics Workgroup, and physician leader in the Obstetric response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, Loren was highly involved in MultiCare's Women's & Children's strategic planning through which MultiCare's OB CareConnect virtual platform was introduced.
As an XCO expert partner, in 2017 Loren supported development of the Montana-based Bozeman Health Women's & Children's Care System Strategic Plan. Then in 2018 and 2019, she was instrumental in working side-by-side with the OB physicians to activate several of the plans' key initiatives - including execution of a new Bozeman Health Midwifery Program, advancement of perinatology and neonatology regional partnerships, and evolution of an MFM specialty program associated with the local OB practice.
Loren completed her MFM Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center/ Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. She has dedicated her career to obstetrics - including high-risk OB - care. She serves as a member of American Association for Physician Leadership, Washington State Medical Association, American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
In 2017, Loren joined the Strategy Advantage team as an XCO Partner. In this role, she is available as a 1:1 executive-to-executive partner for leaders changing healthcare.
